27.01.09 Werftbesuch bei Lagoon in Bordeaux

Heute war es endlich soweit: wir haben zum ersten Mal unser zukünftiges schwimmendes Zuhause, die “PACIFIC HIGH” in Augenschein nehmen können. Da wir uns für den Werftbesuch nur einen  Tag Zeit genommen hatten und im Winterflugplan keine Direktverbindung München – Bordeaux besteht, mußten wir sehr früh aufstehen um nach einem Zwischenstopp in Paris gegen 11:00 Uhr in Bordeaux von Loic Lagrange am Flughafen abgeholt zu werden. Da wir uns bewusst vorher nicht über den Stand der Dinge erkundigt hatten war unsere Neugier groß und unsere Erwartungen entsprechend hoch. Um es kurz zu machen: unsere Erwartungen wurden nicht enttäuscht: für ein Boot ca. vier Wochen vor der geplanten Auslieferung ist “unsere” Lagoon schon recht weit (auch wenn es für den Laien anders aussehen mag!).

Today we had for the first time the chance to take a look at our future floating home, the “PACIFIC HIGH”. Since we only visit the yard for one day and taken in consideration that the winter flight timetable has no direct connections Munich – Bordeaux, we had to get up very early and, after a stopover in Paris at 11:00 o’ clock, Loic Lagrange picked us up at the Bordeaux airport. We where very curious, and full of expectations. To make it short, our expectations were not disappointed: for a boat about four weeks before the planned delivery “our” Lagoon looks quite well (even if to you the photos may look different).

Aujourd’hui, il était enfin dans la mesure où nous pûmes prendre à l’inspection pour la première fois, nôtre future maison flottante, le Cat “PACIFIC HIGH”. Comme nous avons pris seulement un jour pour la visite de chantier (d’hiver il n’ya pas de liaison directe Munich – Bordeaux), nous avons dû nous lever très tôt pour arriver à Bordeaux à 11h00 apres une escale à Paris. Loic Lagrange est venu nous chercher à l’aéroport, tres gentil. Notre curiosité était très grand!  Pour faire court: nos attentes n’ont pas été déçus: pour un bateau d’environ quatre semaines avant la date de livraison, “notre” Lagoon est déjà très bien terminée (même si pour vous ca peut-être différent sur les photos!).

Oggi abbiamo finalmente avuto l’occasione di vedere per la prima volta, la nostra futura casa galleggiante, il Cat “Pacific High”. Purtroppo abiamo avuto un solo giorno per visitare il cantiere, e considerato il fatto che d’inverno non c’é un volo diretto Monaco – Bordeaux , ci siamo dovuto alzare molto presto e, dopo uno scalo a Parigi, alle 11:00 Loic Lagrange e stato cosi gentile di ricuperarci all’aeroporto di Bordeaux. Dal momento che non eravamo a conoscenza dello stato delle cose la nostra curiosità era molto grande, e le nostre aspettative elevate. Per farla breve, le nostre aspettative non sono state deluse: per una barca circa quattro settimane prima della prevista consegna il “nostro” Cat Lagoon  si trova in uno stato di rifinimento molto avanzato (anche se per voi le imagini possono sembrare chaotiche).
